Team Dillon Racing Turns Focus to 2014 Development Drivers
April 7th, 2014 - Team Dillon Racing has been absent from the Super Late Model scene for the last 4 weeks, as the team has focused on two development drivers for the 2014 season, Kate Dallenbach, 17 of Mooresville, NC and Blake Shapiro, 22 of Fort Worth, TX.

1Kate, daughter of Wally & Robin Dallenbach, carries on the Dallenbach family tradition, and has been racing on asphalt in various classes since 2005.  In 2013 she competed in a few Crate Late Model tests and schools with the TDR team and plans a 10-race schedule in 2014 driving the #5 SHE Outdoor Wear, Bass Pro Shops, TDR Warrior Crate Late Model Chevrolet.

The Team Dillon Racing crew plans to return to action with Dale McDowell piloting the #17m machine in a pair of upcoming events. Kicking of the weekend early at Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, NC on Thursday for the Ray Cook Spring Nationals followed by the World of Outlaws Late Model Series event on Friday at Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, TN.  Blake Shapiro and Ryan Gifford, driver of the #2, plan to attend both events participating in the Crate Late Model class wrapping up their weekend Saturday at Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, GA.
