Austin Dillon Competes in Summernationals Action

aJune 20th, 2015 - To make his first appearance in the UMP DIRTcar Summernationals Hell Tour, Team Dillon Racing made the trip to Jacksonville Speedway (Jacksonville, Illinois) with Austin Dillon in the drivers seat. Competing in a field of 22 Late Models, Dillon found a way into the ILMO Propane Wildman Kelly Classic A-Main with a 3rd place finish in his heat. With a 8th place starting spot, Austin fell back to record a 12th place finish in the 40-lap feature.

On Wednesday night Austin Dillon returned on the Summernationals Hell Tour as it traveled to Farley Speedway (Farley, Iowa). With a stronger field of 25 Super Late Models, Dillon edged his way into the feature event with 5th place spot his heat. Starting in 14th, Austin advanced one position in the 50-lap feature to record a 13th place finish.

aReturning in the drivers seat of her Team Dillon Racing #23 RCR/Bad Boy Buggies Crate Late Model, Ahnna Parkhurst visited Lavonia Speedway (Lavonia, Georgia) on Friday night. After experiencing some issues with her brakes in qualifying, it was determined it was best to save the equipment and call it a night.

aOn Saturday after they had the problem resolved, Ahnna traveled to Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Georgia) hoping for better results. With the weather playing a major factor on how the program progressed, Parkhurst landed a 12th place finish in the feature event.
