Busy Week for Team Dillon Racing

July 24th, 2015 - Team Dillon Racing returned to action on Monday night with Ty Dillon piloting the #41 Team Dillon Racing/Warrior/ECR Racing Engine Super Late Model. With 15 cars signed in to Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, Virginia) for the Schaeffer Oil Southern National Series, Dillon scored a top five finish. After threatening rain cancelled the heat races and the dash, Ty transferred into the feature based off his qualifying time. Battling for a $3,500 payday, Dillon pulled off a 4th place finish behind Billy Ogle Jr., Vic Hill, and Donald McIntosh with Casey Roberts completing the top five.

The following night Dale McDowell checked into Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) to compete in a Sunoco American Late Model Series Event. In a field of 27 Super Late Models, McDowell transferred into the $2,000 to win Tuesday Night Tailgate with a top ten starting spot. After spinning out on lap three, Dale charged from the back of the pack to pull off a 7th place finish, advancing 15 spots.

On Wednesday night 23 Super Late Models signed in for the UMP DIRTcar Special Event, the 1-800-Car-Cash Mudsummer Classic paying $2,000 to the winner. After capturing a heat race victory, the bad luck continued for McDowell in the feature event. Leading the first five laps, Dale brought out the caution sending him to the back for a 23rd place finish.

Ahnna Parkhurst hopped back in the drivers seat of the #23a Crate Late Model on Friday night traveling to Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Georgia). Following qualifiying, Parkhurst called it a night early in the A-Main after things didn't feel right behind the wheel.
