Dale McDowell scores pair of Top-10 finishes with the Outlaws at Ponderosa and Brownstown
Skipping the opening night of the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series tripleheader, Dale McDowell joined the series at Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Ky.) on Friday for the Billy Todd Classic.
Missing the setup in qualifying, McDowell started 12th in the $15,000-to-win main event and charged into the Top-10 before sneaking into the fifth-position when the checkered flag flew.
With 30 entries at Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway on Saturday, Dale once again started towards the rear and climbed his way through the field to finish inside the Top-10 in eighth.
